Day 1 : Ferrol

A city with a pronounced maritime character, closely linked to naval activities. It is worth highlighting the modern style of its streets and the great gastronomic. Arrival on your own (transfer on request).

Day 2 : Ferrol - Pontedeume (27.7 km ~ 8 hours)

Difficulty level: medium.

We start our way in urban areas and without much difficulty along the estuary. Only when we leave Fene behind us will we find the first differences in altitude.

Day 3 : Pontedeume - Betanzos (19.7 km ~ 5 hours)

Difficulty level: medium.

Today is mainly through rural areas. The hardest point is the climb from Ponte do Porco to Montecelo. We come to Betanzos, a beautiful medieval town famous for its omelette.

Day 4 : Betanzos - Hospital de Bruma (24 km ~ 6 hours)

Difficulty level: medium.

We are facing the most difficult and complex stage of this camino. We move away from the urban centers and the estuaries to hike several kilometers in the middle of nature. Surrounded by woods and bushes, we cross steep terrain and small villages until we reach Mesón do Vento. There are hardly any shops or restaurants, taxis etc. in this stage.

Day 5 : Hospital de Bruma - Sigüeiro (24.4 km ~ 6 hours)

Difficulty level: medium.

Compared to the previous day, we are presented with a relatively easy and flat route today. The area consists of paved roads and dirt roads.

Day 6 : Sigüeiro - Santiago (15.7 km ~ 4 hours)

Difficulty level: easy.

Last stage. Today we reach our destination: the long awaited cathedral. The number of pilgrims today increases significantly the closer we get to our destination. In this stage the slopes are flat. We enter Santiago through an industrial area, but the magic is immediately restored as soon as we enter the historic old town, until we finally take a look at the towers of the cathedral.
