The impressive landscapes of the Salnés region await us looking at the Ría de Arousa. In an area of a few kilometers, we will be able to see the enormous wealth of this land. With a much milder climate than the inland and northern areas of Galicia, we will find ourselves in a microcosm of Atlantic nature and diverse spirit, the place where the Albariño grapes are born.

Between the sea and the forests , vast areas of vineyards stand out. Here are produced some of the most famous and highest quality white wines in the world. These wines
are also the flagship of our land, and inseparable companions of fish and seafood.
Rías Baixas is one of the five denominations of origin of Galician wines, along with Ribeira Sacra, Ribeiro, Valdeorras and Monterrei.
There are many winegrowers in this area, since the land is cultivated by a smallholding system, in many small properties. In the same way, there are wineries of various sizes, some with productions of great international distribution, and others of smaller size and more artisanal production. Almost 70% of all the wineries in the Rías Baixas Denomination of Origin are concentrated in the Salnes Region.
